Black Bear Comes to Ludington, Quickly Regrets It

Conservation officers poke the bear through the windows to get him to come out of an accessory building near the corner of Dowland and Washington this morning at around 11 AM. The black bear, first saw near the school forest before going across town to James and Dowland Street, was cornered after climbing up a couple of trees near this building. After using gunfire and non-lethal bullets to coax it down from the trees, the bear would seek this refuge and immediately after this crossed Washington and eventually went into the wilderness by the old depot.

Willy, I couldn't help but notice that you grabbed a photo from the archives when Ryan Cox was mayor of Ludington to show the bare suit I wore back then.  If you had a view from the front, you would have seen my tribute to the then-mayor (it just looks like more than one).  Barney might say it was a Kodiak moment.

if you wear the bear suit or not, I think you and the counsel will be on polar opposite sides of most issues.

I think you would get more attention if you wore your original bare costume.

Only one way to find out

Chris from WMOM gave a public comment dressed in a Gus Macker costume without being found out-of-bounds at the last meeting, so if I did show up in a bear costume, there shouldn't be a problem right?

You definitely need a bear costume for the next meeting if background music isn’t going to be allowed.
