That still may be in the future as one of the seven remaining phases of the 'improvements' drafted by those magi at Progressive AE.  Can you imagine the maintenance costs if the walkway had been constructed last year?  The City has a couple hundred thousand in repairs they already have to do with the finger pier off the Loomis Street launch.

If they ever try to get another trust fund grant for the walkway, I better see a lot more common sense people addressing the council when they have the two public hearings on it.
