So Willy how many acres do you own?

And that's been the problem. The powers to be think of us as cows. They want us to keep grazing and ignore the fact that they are stealing billions from us while desecrating our environmental space with  monstrous, intrusive industrial machinery.

looks like the cows are doing fine and don't care only for the green grass God has provided

If these were high rise apartments they would not be visible because 4 or 5 levels is as high as high rises go around Ludington. These towers are almost 500 ft. tall. As far as being a ,constructive development, I think the landowners in the area would dispute that. Not only has real estate prices plummeted with the installation of these towers, but that fact that home sellers can't even get folks to come out and look at the property. Then you add the fact that these towers are heavily subsidized with our tax dollars to the tune of billions. These particular towers alone cost the taxpayers $80+ million dollars and when the electricity flows the price of that power will be substantially higher than we are paying now due to the fact that they are only about 22% efficient. the promise of Local jobs is almost non existant. 95% of the labor, material and transportaion was either from out of state or from out of the country.  All this doesn't take into affect the division in the community that these eyesores has caused. Family and friends are now feuding over these towers. So in my opinion we have been duped by wind energy proponents to give up our vistas, money, land values ect. all in the name of "green energy". I bet Al Gore is sitting in his fuel guzzling jet right now counting the money he is raking off all our backs.

Actually, this is a better, more constructive development than having a group of high rise apartments block your view

And views change.. hamlin looks lots diffrent than it did 50 years ago.. but it's still beautiful

That is an intriguing question. I don't know if that has ever been addressed by any Court system or by any Governmental body. I do know that in some parts of the Country there is such a thing as a "view tax" which increases the value of and  property taxes of parcels of real estate that have vistas or panorama type views.

Who owns the view?

I took this photo from the front of a resident of Condrad road. What a change a few months can make. Their original view is gone forever.
