What an at-bat! Over the course of 12 minutes and 52 seconds, Brandon Belt saw a major-league record 21 pitches in a single at-bat against Angels' pitcher Jaime Barria.
Thanks for posting this. A testament to good pitching as well as batting. The pitcher threw well enough to keep the ball out of play and the batter made contact with the ball more often then he missed it. I'm actually surprised this does not happen more often. This would have been more classic if the final hit had to have been chased down by the outfielder and caught with him leaping against the wall.
