We were concerned in a recent article that the investigation associated with the above traffic accident did not mention anything about the speed of the police vehicle at the time of crash, so we FOIAed the sheriff to get the dashcam footage referenced in the report made by the LPD. While the camera does not show the speed of the police vehicle (like many dashcams do), it does not appear to be speeding in the 25 mph zone, alleviating the MCSO officer of any legal liability that may have occurred if he was speeding.
