I have a rather large yard and very bad back. Does anyone know a couple kids/adults with a good work ethic who would like to rake some leaves and stack some wood for a good paycheck?
I would appreciate it. Just add me and shoot me an email with his info if he is interested. Between School 2 jobs and failing back I just would not finish the job until fall. :(
I know a developmentally disabled man who has an excellent work ethic and back, does this work normally, but would likely need to be picked up, dropped off around Scottville. If interested, I'll try to connect you to him. But check out Angela and Sheila's lead first.
I typically pay 10$ an hour for this type of work. When I did it myself it took 2 days with myself and my wife working. So you would be looking at 60-120$ worth probably, depending on work speed and breaks and such. I provide the rakes.. all leaves and or brush gets burned on site in a fire pit. This is a 120 by 150 yard full of beech trees so it is not a job for the faint of heart. I have not connected with Shiela's contact yet so if your really interested Angela send a note with contact info to my email on the torch here.
P.S. I did get some of this done before throwing up my hands this week, so it is basically only a back yard mostly now.
If it is something you have on hand, sure.. I dont own one myself. I think I am now glad I never bought one, as that would be one more thing for me to move when I move out of state later this summer. I heard it may even snow this weekend. I would have liked to get it done this weekend but the snow /rain thing might not make that possible.
we own a leaf blower the only problem would be that I (or my hubby & I ) couldn't do it until the 1st weekend in April - it's my son's birthday party this weekend & we have family coming up and my hubby has inventory next weekend for work - though may be able to start next sunday -are u in the city?
