Is Military Secret Exposer Bradley Manning a Hero?

The American Conservative recently ran with the following story concerning Army private Bradley Manning in which it reveals a dichotomy of thought in considering the role he played in the exposure of military secrets in the Wikileaks affair.  Was his actions traitorous, as we were originally led to believe, or heroic in retrospect?  Mayhaps, both or neither-- please read the article and lend your opinion.
