Music and Leaderboards: New Featured Features

Two new features for the Ludington Torch. 

 

The one that's been around for a little while is the music option that comes up midway down the main page.  In some ways it is an improvement on the old 'music' option, as you can pick your favorite music from an extensive playlist by 'searching' the Muziic music library as you would 'Google', and play it immediately or make playlists of your favorite tunes.  I have had some good success with it, and it seems more trustworthy than your general music freeloading site.  A note has been put in the notes section to help you with some of the basics.  Let me know if you have any problems or have figured something neat out about it and want to share it with your friends.

 

The newest one is what the Ning guys call the 'Leaderboard' and is featured to the right side of the page, and can be accessed as a 'sub-feature' under the members category.  When you click the 'Leaderboards' header, you will see other rankings.  Don't know exactly how they figure out the rankings, but it's there to show what's HOT at the Torch and it's a feature that might be of interest to all the type 'A' personalities who just have to compete.  If it encourages more of you to share your opinions, photos, and charming repartee, I will consider it a success.
