Have you guys seen the tacky(IMO) "Italian" flag the Lucianos guy painted over all those neat old fort Daul paintings?

Red White and Green. It is so UGLY!!! And it doesn't even cover the old paintings underneath. Hasn't this guy ever heard of primer/sealer? I think they cal it Kilz.  It reminds me of something a HOA would ban an owner from doing. Doesn't the downtown have a board or something with some rules about keeping things looking decent.

Those old painting really gave some character to the corner of James and Lud Ave. Now I feel like I am am in "little Detroit" right in Ludville. Or a red light district.

Even though it takes me forever and a day to pick out anything for a remodel/repair at least it looks good when I am done.

Shame on you Luciano's guy for not taking your time choosing something, Shame on you for not respecting the heritage of our community.

If I ever pick such an ugly redo for anything, please people, tell me.

That does seem to be a odd thing to paint at that particular spot in town... and to paint it without really bothering to cover up what was originally there is even odder. It's almost like they didn't want it to look good.. just wanted it to be there no matter. If I was going to go through the trouble of painting something like that, i'd want to do it right. Of course if it was me, I don't know i'd be painting over what was there to begin with... what was there gave the downtown a bit of character.
I was down there this week and thought it looked terrible.
I'll have to make it down that way to see it. Isn't the temperature supposed to be warmer when you're painting outside?
it's been there quite a while
