Whats up with the explosive devices?

Many of you already know of the incident in NYC last night with the SUV with a bunch of explosive material inside. Now today its being reported that there was a explosive device found near a area where a marathon being ran at. The explosive device today was apparently in a microwave from the sounds of things... the bomb squad has taken care of it and thankfully no one was hurt in either situation. Hopefully this is the last incident.
