Will Obama Admin. use FCC to destroy Freedom of the Press Rights?

It's been on the fixed agenda for over a year now, and it appears to be getting implemented very soon in Columbia, S.C. to start. The Obama administration is seeking to have all news and media outlets monitored very soon. The purpose is promoted as for the public good, no doubt. They intend to monitor what in print and TV will be told to the public, as good news, and leaving out what they interpret as news not worthy of interest.
