Thanks for the generosity Willy. That's exactly what I'm talking about, accidental loss of life to many innocent people could have happened in an instant! Whether they be fisherman, breakwall walkers, or the owners/crew on the boat. Thank God for miracles when an accident like this happens. It seems almost every Labor Day weekend something like this has to happen, and it didn't have to. This guy, Capt. Jim Windfield is a great guy I heard, tackle shop downstate, and invented the Ugly Stick fishing rod perhaps too.
Be my guest Aquaman. It just occurred to me that many fishermen and women and kids use the breakwater to fish this time of year. I was on the breakwater early yesterday morning and saw a lot of folks including kids fishing off the pier. Someone could have easily been killed if that boat had hit the rocks where folks were dipping their lines. I'm just waiting for that to happen one of these days.
I hope you don't mind if I share this pic. with others Willy, it's sad, but a great shot.
I think the Frenchy's will be a little upset if they are compared to our neighbors way down south. The Frenchy's will do all of the shoveling and plowing but only with snow because they see dirt for only 2 months out of the year since Montreal is the Miami of Quebec.
Are you sure it wasn't Quebecois French they were speaking? Quebec really hasn't been the same since they realized the Montreal Canadiennes, the Montreal Expos, and Celine Dion have no more relevance to their respective sports and arts. But who am I kidding, the Expos have never been relevant.
They'll do the raking, shoveling, and plowing jobs that the Mexicans won't do.
You've got a point X. Most of those people only spoke Spanish, so I believe the boat was smuggling illegals to Ludington so the Council and new Mayor could increase their voter base. A lot of them were wearing La Raza t-shirts.
With all those people getting off her (as shown on your picture), maybe it was just overloaded, LOL.
