Anyone heard of a special land use meeting tonight about the old Lyons property on south James st.? Seems it's a little late to conceder if a property could be used for a certain business after the property was purchased and the buildings were leveled. A lot of money spent on a hunch that the council would accept it.

As an owner in Harbor Terrace, we did receive a letter from the Planning Commission requesting comments on the plan. I'm not sure who else may have received notification  about this. However, it was well after the building on the site was razed. Does anyone know or want to opine on how this could have been done better? Should the perspective buyer attempt to obtain permission PRIOR to purchase? This does not seem to be the way to go, either. What say you, fellow torch bearers?

Maybe we can overtake Traverse City in the best party resort on Lk. Michigan soon, if this kind of nonsense continues. Looks like the "FIX" was in again here, as per the usual. Thanks Ludinton City Clownsil for the continuing silliness and fixes in the area.

Its a regular meeting of the Planning Commission to figure it out.  The lot was sold to Bass Lake Holdings on May 8, 2015, and you seem to be right about putting the cart before the horse.  It's a brewery, however, so guess who gets the first round of drinks on the house?
