I thought it was one of his better question and answer sessions. Some of the questions were from arrogant students who were parroting what they had learned from their liberal - progressive instructors. They thought they knew more and understood more than Friedman. Of course the students were only demonstrating the knowledge which represents the ignorant side of the how things work and what the problems are and who or what caused many of the Worlds and the U.S. economic and social ills. Some of Friedman's answers are very helpful to conservatives because they help explain what really is going on. There are very few people I have known who can explain simply and directly the complex issues we face and Friedman is right at the top of that list.
I listened to the presentation by the esteemed Mr. Friedman, it has a few lessons, Willy, but exactly what was I supposed to get out of it, besides sound economic ideas that have been mostly ignored for many years?
