I agree Willy. I think the US government needs to make drastic cuts/reforms on Obama care, drastic cuts on our military budget, and put our money towards our education system and space program. The future of our economy relies on the technology we create now, and that requires us to make the next generation capable of discovering and innovating the world around us.

As much as I like him and as interested as I am in astronomy I can't see the space program ever being a big deal in the U.S. again because the money he wants is going out to other projects whether they be bad or good. It all depends on who holds the money. We are being taxed to death as of now while only 50% of our citizens pay the freight for the other half and now that Obama care is going to tie up 1/6 of the economy with a crushing pile of laws we may even find out that what we now have left of the space program may soon wither away.
