Very confusing. If Mr. Alway was so concerned with underhanded tactics and the Yeomans/Graham group undoing things he has started, why exit the fight? It is always better to try you best and lose, then walk away without trying.
The letter reminds one of chocolate with a high percentage of cocoa in its totality: extra dark and bitter. Reminds me of the time at an end of a 2021 meeting when Clowncilor Alway read a spurious letter taking pot shots at me for my attempts at accountability and transparency for illegal actions he was a part of. I asked for a copy of the letter, a public record by dint of its use at a clowncil meeting-- but was denied it. Rob himself appears to be proud of his mischaracterizations this time around.
I plan on writing up a recap tonight but I am hoping for some response(s) from the other side who have been overlooked by both the MCP (naturally) and the LDN.
Thanks X for the insight. I found Alway resignation letter to be full of bitterness. And i wonder of he exposed the Petit-Murphy relationship? It's a many-faceted soap opera. I'm glad that members like Yeomans and Graham are stepping forward to stand up for transparency.
I honestly believe that Spencer and Alway as mayor and mayor pro tempore were the forces behind Scottville's decline since 2019. Alway is so averse to opinions contrary to him, he cravenly keeps anyone other than members of the amen corner off his slanted news. I have tried to talk with Alway respectfully after meetings, he says "F%*k you, Rotta." I have spoke with Yeomans and Graham after meetings and they say they want more transparency and they want the public to speak before the city's business, but the corruption machine led by Spencer and Alway clique was always dominant and clung to violating the charter at will. Then there's this tantrum letter not acknowledging that his arrogance and inability to follow laws led to the downfall of the city commission and the rise of the city clowncil. We hope the clowncil gives up the ghost with its new leadership and we can once again field a city commission in Scottville.
Wish Willy was here to offer one of his ghost clown cartoons.
Wow! Just what is going on in Scottville? From an outsider's point of view (yet reading these and Alway's comentaries), there seems to be a greater problem causing this stress and interal bickering. Is it the taxes and the price of water that will make Scottville a Clown-ghost-town?
