"The next time that you are confronted with saying the hard thing, and the honest thing, and you know it comes at a price to your flesh or yourself, you say the true thing.  The next time you see somebody who is suffering or is being treated unjustly, and you can intervene, you do something about it.  You stand up to the bully, you put your own neck out there and you choose what is right over what is comfortable.  The most masculine people that I know are the ones that go into places where they are not welcome, they were not invited, that they will be booed off stage, and they still proclaim the truth.  That's what it means to be a man."    --Charlie Kirk, 2024 speech to Christian men

One week after his political assassination, one must proclaim the truth that Charlie Kirk was the man.  And yet he possessed the highest quality traits of what we consider feminine:  gentleness, humility, modesty, and nurturing ability in getting his universal messages across.  He would frequently humble himself before his Savior born approximately 2000 years ago, as he would before and after the comment made above, while rhetorically humbling those whom he welcomed to debate the truth with him at places where his words were sacrilegious to the secular humanist viewpoints embraced there.

While spreading the word of his Holy Father, his own birth parents must have known something from the start was special about their son when they named him Charles James Kirk as its etymology would define what he would aspire to over his 31 years.

Charles is derived from the Old English word ceorl, meaning “free man.”

James means a man in control of his own actions and will.

Kirk is a Scottish and former Northern English word meaning 'church'.

Charlie Kirk's signature forum, the type of gathering his earthly life was ended at, was his open-air church, where he would espouse his heartfelt beliefs about what it meant to be a truly free person.  And while he would put his most vehement detractors and critics at the front of the line to his microphone, the conviction of his message was manifest and stark, showing one in full control of his own actions and will.  Perhaps exposing the truth to vessels that had been filled with the falsehoods that often permeate modern society.

Rush Limbaugh is often considered the icon of modern conservative thought, and perhaps rightly so.  But Charlie Kirk transcended that philosophy, broadcasting favorably towards that doctrine and broadening its appeal by doing things that Limbaugh could never achieve by wading into the maelstrom of his enemy's strongholds and taking the worst of their slings and arrows with a smile and a civil, persuasive counterargument.  Until the afternoon of September 10, 2025, when a cowardly adversary took him from us all, leaving a vacuum of clarity for all of humanity on this planet.

This is why you see vigils happening across the world and why there has been an organic local movement to celebrate Charlie's life and mourn his untimely death.  This will happen tonight in Ludington at 6 PM, where people will gather in commemoration of this man's life at the courthouse and walk solemnly through the downtown and to the end of Ludington Avenue to the peaceful shore of Lake Michigan where a candlelight vigil will be held.  Some area churches have relocated their Wednesday services in order to stand unashamed for truth and the God Charlie served in earnest.

For those who philosophically disagree with what Charlie stood for, please find a place in your heart and your soul to listen to what he actually said throughout his life rather than accept the messaging that this man's killer received and believed about this husband and father of two.  That killer would allegedly write that Charlie spread too much hate with his words, just before that murderer committed the ultimate act of hatred himself.  It should be no contest for any reasonable person to figure out the truth behind where the hatred was at here.

Charlie Kirk is irreplaceable, a national treasure taken from us too soon, yet forever a martyr killed for his faith in truth, Jesus Christ, and his Holy Father.  Pray for those that do not see the full truth, we are all blessed when this can be revealed to them.
