I can agree with ‘No Kings’. I really do not think the Monarchy does much for England. The Royal family is more of a tourist attraction that lives off welfare. I could see why the people of England might want to do away with this financial drag on their country. But we’re not talking about England’s king. In America we have roads that lead to nowhere, trains that lead to nowhere and now, protests that lead to nowhere. In addition to XLFD’s opinion at a recent City of Ludington meeting, here is a segment from Scott Adam’s “Coffee With Scott Adam’s podcasts”.
Scott Adams has a great way of putting things into perspective.
During a recent episode of his ‘Coffee With Scott Adams’ podcast, he turned his attention to the upcoming ‘No Kings’ protests and predicted that they’ll go nowhere because they don’t really have any meaning other than disliking Trump.
Adams also pointed out that after what Trump has done in the Middle East, the messaging of these protest is pointless.
Adams says:
“I guess they’re going to have that ‘No Kings’ protest on the weekend. So, the ‘No Kings’ is to say that they don’t want anybody who’s authoritarian. Do you think that has the same spice and energy now as it did a week ago? Because Trump’s, like I said, Trump’s strong man, authoritarian approach is exactly what got us these good results. So they’re going to have a whole demonstration against the thing that we all watched work, right in front of our eyes. We all observed it working. And they’re going to have a whole demonstration against the thing we all observed working, which is Trump bullying people that needed to be bullied.
And uh, so I think that whole ‘No Kings’ thing, since it doesn’t have an objective, you know they just put it in the category of, see? We’re fighting Trump. Can you see? Look how hard we’re fighting him.
Well, what exactly are you doing? Well, we some peaceful protests call No Kings. What exactly is that going to do for anybody? Is that supposed to change Trump’s behavior? Because they had a bunch of people marching? Are these people who haven’t watched the news lately? They don’t know that Trump’s doing a good job? What exactly will this accomplish? So that’s not going to accomplish anything. It doesn't even have an accomplishment built into its objective. I don’t believe there’s any objective to it, right?”
There is more. Adam’s suggests that the real motive here is money for protest organizers.
Scott summarized this so perfectly. There is no message other than the fact that they hate Trump, which everyone already knows. There is no objective either. It’s just something for the angry left to do because they have got nothing else.
After reading Scott’s take, I’m going to drive by the protest and just smile. Not much more you can do.

When I try to get an answer about what exactly the "No Kings" rally is about, I never seem to get an answer from local folks. The puppeteers running this apparently believes it harkens back to Tom Paine who never really used the phrase in his pamphlet "Common Sense" but paraphrased it and more famously said in this country "the law is king".
What I saw was a man who overcame a lot of unfair lawfare once he made himself a candidate for presidency in 2023, efforts that wanted to take away his right to run for that office by a party that violated a lot of election laws (i.e. cheated) in 2020 to put a senile puppet into place, then dropped him in 2024 when they set him up for failure, and put in someone who never received a vote in the primaries and who was a dodo if you're being nice. Shadow governments in a democracy, where someone unknown is in command of the president's autopen is much worse than even having a king. But Trump plays by the rules, always has in in his political life, and overcame the dysfunctional part of federal government to achieve the presidency once again, despite the dysfunctional process of counting in several states, including Michigan, which allows for cheating.
Most of these protesters clamor for illegal aliens to be let in and/or left alone, so much for the law is king, want to 8647 without any mention of impeachment and a trial-- but throw a hissy fit when the administration may have denied an illegal alien gang member his due process. I could go on and on about how hypocritical they are, but you should get the point by now.
