Canine follies are funny. The only thing I hate about beach fun is that, even if you hose the pup down after the adventure later, there's still sand in my bed the next day. That looked like one of the huge logs we saw on the lake this summer, very dangerous to boaters, where was that? Thanks.
B-ville. The day I took that pic the log was out in the water just enough for a bunch of sand to wash away from the end that was sticking out into the lake. The little pup loves the water, that was his first trip out there, but he had been swimming for a bit sticking his whole head under water then he got up on that log and I kid you not he took a running leap off the end. he didn't expect the depth of water at the end of the log to be any different then where he had been swimming at about the same distance from shore a bit down from the log. but the depth was about a foot or so deeper.
He went off the end of the log and completely under water! When I took the pic bf was saying 'help him up', I said no, he'll figure it out to go in to shore. Right where he is standing his back legs are touching but he couldn't get up on the log.
Maybe I have a dock diving dog. Heck, with as many as I have they need physical and Mental exercise. Starting in NOV. Pat the fat rat is going to the place up on Hoage road to do agility course training.

Aquaman didn't look close enough at the background of the middle picture, which was a dead giveaway to me as to the location of Buttersville. When some friends are up in the summer, that's where they take their dogs for a spot of fun. The beach from the south pier down to the Pump Storage Project is a great place to walk with friends, alone, or with your dogs.
