This is the movie that Obama claims was the cause of the riots in the Middle East. If this movie caused the riots then why were the people burning the American flag instead of the movie.

I don't hear any outcry when people mock Christians or when Muslim countries persecute and kill Christians. I doubt this movie caused any real big stir. It's poorly made and silly. I can't see how anyone could take this film seriously.

It is as poorly made as humanly possible IMO. I forced myself, but if very many muslims watched this all the way through i would hate to see what is on tv over there.

I can see where Muslims would find this offensive, but so would any film critic.  As a historical figure, however, Muhammud was a bit different person than Jesus.  Muhammud was and is portrayed by his followers as a warrior and prolific with wives; Jesus was portrayed by his followers through his peaceful acts and his moderation in all things.   It's no surprise why Muslims react the way they do, and why most Christians don't react this way.

You are correct in your comparison between Jesus and Muhammad. The following is a paragraph from a website that offers some explanation as to why modern Muslims are so violent and radical regarding their religious beliefs.

"Muhammad was first and foremost a revolutionary, a fiery religious guerrilla leader who created and led the first genuine national insurgency in antiquity that is comprehensible in modern terms. Unlike conventional generals, Muhammad did not seek the defeat of a foreign enemy or invader; rather, he sought to replace the existing Arabian social order with a new one based upon a radically different ideological worldview. To achieve his revolutionary goals Muhammad utilized all the means recognized by modern analysts as characteristic of a successful insurgency in today’s world."

The BS our President is saying about the video causing riots only shows how stupid he thinks Americans and the rest of the World are because since the origins of Islam it has always been their goal  to conquer and spread their ideas and Religion.

Normally, I would be leery of historical data that comes form ancient times, but Christian and Muslim scholars both generally agree on the basic roots of their respective religions, and the character of Jesus and Muhammud, their respective philosophies, and what is expected of their followers.

The power behind the Islam religion, like progressive secularism, is based mainly on fear, ignorance, and rights of a few.  The power behind Christianity is based on love, knowledge, and inherent rights of all.  In my opinion, that's why the Christian philosophy is so appealing, and why secular progressives don't like Christian ideals.

This film  made me a little upset.  At about 2:00 in the one learned man says:  "Man plus 'X' equals Islamic terrorist."

As the X factor here in Ludington, I must object, and wonder whether this subversive film was made by Ludington City Hall personnel.

I hope we don't read about you rioting in the streets. What is the the definition of a one man riot?

Not sure, but Rodney Dangerfield used to be a one man laugh riot when he was on.

Rodney was awesome... one of my favorites of the classic comedians.

Who can forget Rodney in the classic movie Caddyshack:

If the people that were offended and rioted by this obscure video, you have to wonder why they didn't get their undies in a bunch when Bill Mahr put out his movie "Religiculous" a few years back which mocked Muslims and most all other religions?

Speaking of movies, I'm wondering how the people that were rioting over a movie are going to react when the movie about the killing of Osama Bin Laden gets released.

I didn't see any Christians rioting when this was on display and was given an award by an organization sponsored by the Government.

"Piss Christ is a 1987 photograph by the American artist and photographer Andres Serrano. It depicts a small plastic crucifix submerged in a glass of the artist's urine. The piece was a winner of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art's "Awards in the Visual Arts" competition,[1] which was sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, a United States Government agency that offers support and funding for artistic projects. A print of the photograph was damaged using a screwdriver or icepick on April 17, 2011, while on exhibit in Avignon, France"

This actually won awards. HuH?
