Its about time people start doing the right thing. This guy should get a medal(at least a plaque), not a prison sentence. yes, he did chase the burglar down and shoot him, but I bet if that happened a few times in any given neighborhood the burglars would give second thoughts to breaking into a house or targeting the area. It is time to take this country back from the criminals.

Deport them, then when they come back deport them again. it isn't like that actually did anything *wrong* illegal yes, worth 15 years..retarded. We could deprt them 100 times for what it would cost to house them in our prisons for 15 years.

That man who shot the burgler may get 15 years while the crook will probably get probation and 60 days public service after he is released from his hospital stay which will probably be paid for by taxpayers.

 

 

Regarding the illegal documents, this has been going on for years, especially at truck stops. There is very little that is not obtainable at those trucker fuel depot/restaurants.

Its silly to condemn a man for protecting himself, his family and his home. Doesn't help when you get people like Michael Moore that want to make guns a racial issue. In a recent interview Mikey tries to suggest that people who own guns have in their mind that the person they will shoot is of another race. Of course Mikey forgets that there are plenty of people of other ethnic backgrounds who own guns... and the reality of course is that a good portion of actual gun violence (not people protecting their home or others), is done by people of the same ethnicity as the other. How many times do we see a black man shooting a black man or a white man shooting a white man? Plenty. As usual, Mikey lives in a made up world that has little to do with reality.

Never got into the hunting thing myself either. Tried going hunting with my dad a few times and it was just to much of a yawn fest... there were better things to be doing then sitting out in the cold woods hoping some deer would come trotting by.. lol

I don't own a gun at this time but wouldn't mind getting one to do some target shooting at some point.

Yeah its a lot of fun!  Once you try it you'll get hooked.  A good caliber to start would be a plain old .22.  Ammo is cheap!

Dittos Max, lots of cheap ammo in the .22 bracket yet, except, the price has risen considerably in the last 10 years, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than is fair and justified. Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarget practice anyone?

Yes, the price of 22 ammo has really gone up, but its still relatively cheap.  I always take at least one 22 with me when I go shooting and always have a lot of fun.
