The protests in Canada are great for Democracy and for all freedom loving people everywhere and I hope Canadians will not give up until the mandates have been removed. It's good they are reacting to tyranny and doing so in positive way. But let's not forget where and when this type of action started. in 2020 there were many rallies in the US protesting the lock downs but only 1 really stands out as being epic. That protests took place right here in the center of Michigan in Lansing on 4-15-2020. Cars, trucks, buses, motor homes and all sorts of vehicles showed up to challenge Governor Whitmer's lock down of businesses all over the State and the response was overwhelming. I believe it was much larger than Canada''s Ottawa trucker blockade. In Lansing almost every main street was packed with all sorts of vehicles. The freeways were backed up with vehicles for many miles trying to get into the City. There must have been 10,000 vehicles and probably 100,000 people that showed up. So the spirit of independence and freedom from tyranny has come full circle, from Lansing and the US to many other countries around the World to Canada and right back to Michigan at the Ambassador Bridge. Don't ever give up and keep fighting back the Left and it's power and it's ever growing appetite to devour our liberties.

Willy, you are a true visionary.  Nearly 22 months ago you captured this photo of a vehicle convoy/blockade in a capital city and now we have this going on in another northern capital city, a city by the name of... wait for it... the same street that runs by our fair capitol building... the name on that green placard to the left of the Trump sign in your picture above... Ottawa.

Canadians have found their voice and it's been a truly organic experience.  Unlike the USA, their two political parties are pretty much both pointing the countries future towards tyranny.  One of our parties is at least having an awakening that recognizes the ideals of liberty that we should all hold dear.

Very perceptive X. I never even noticed it. It is quite a coincidence. I hear that US truckers are planning a similar rally at Washington DC. I hope theirs will be as successful. Your right about Canadian politicians. I have family members who live in Canada and they say things are getting bad there. Freedom of speech is not a right in Canada and a lot of Canadians are afraid to speak out against the Government for fear of reprisals from the Government or from  the companies they work for. The difference between the US and Canada is the the US Constitution protects "free speech" while Canada does not.

The US Constitution says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

While Canada allows:

freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication.

As can be seen, freedom of speech is not included so the Government can interpret what the other "freedoms" mean.

What a difference the inclusion of "freedom of speech" can mean to keeping a Country free from oppression as long as the people are willing to defend it and not relinquish that freedom.
