I had no idea there were so many search engines for the internet. Besides the usual search engines people use, does anyone have a preference or recommendation of any of those listed on the website posted below.

Good find Jamie. I'm going to give it a try since it states they do not track users of their search engine.

Actually ... it kind of depends on what it is you are seeking to learn... and also how you ask the question in the search engine.

That is one of my major problems. How to phrase a question when asking for information on a search engine. I find there is a big difference in what information pops up when a question is asked in several different ways. All of the web sites are listed as "search engines" even tho they may have a narrow focus on a particular subject.

Some of the search engines listed in that page you posted are actually professional engines that cost a monthly or yearly fee to use. Lexis Nexis is the largest one I see there.
