The Ludington municipal election campaigns are soon to come to a close and the voter's will make the decisions on who is the best to represent Ludington on Tuesday, November 8.  I've talked with a few people out there, but acknowledge I could probably do a better job of it if I didn't feel a little self-conscious of the bad publicity I have received from those already at Ludington City Hall and their willing tools in the local print media.

Beginning tomorrow, we will have our latest innovation on interactive campaign technology, effectively a retroactive nod to four-dimensional advertisement of our forefathers.  If you live in town, be on the lookout for it.  You'll know it when you see it, is the only extra clue I am giving at this time.

The latest, and likely last, bit of campaign handout/poster we created is this gem developed by our fevered minds here at the Ludington Torch.  I give Aquaman's father credit for being the creative muse of this poster.  Like me, I don't think he really desired the job of councilor when he ran, but he, like I, desired that the city he was so invested in wouldn't be ravaged by the public servants who were supposed to be running things for the good of the electorate, not special interests.  This depicts Kaye Holman's actual record, the one that she won't go into detail about when she boasts she is "doing what's best for Ludington and its citizens".

Excellent. You should have handed this out a month ago to give people time to think about who is running City Hall.
People in general, excluding the members here of course, don't seem to have anytime for much but themselves these days, and also the recent past, unless and until they feel it affects their own lives up close and uncomfortably, nice comment though Willy, always honored.
I have to agree with you, Willy, I should have got this info out sooner.  But I'm feeling it more now.
I would have added a few more phrases too, like: we the working people need to have a voice at city hall again, one that takes orders from no one, would serve no special interests, has no relatives to place in city jobs, that will work for the benefit of locals again. I pledge myself to do my utmost for the betterment of the city at large, and I earnestly and sincerely solicit your support in this election. Polls open 7am to 6pm, we will be glad to furnish transportation to and from the polls, please call phone# if you need assistance.
Some of that is paraphrased in the flier, Aq, and I was a little worried about current election law as to the transportation of voters to and from the polls.  As I read it, election reform doesn't allow a candidate to directly help voters to the polls and back.  And I know who would be called on it, if the local election overseers enforced it.
Great flyer.  I really think it catches what the majority of the people want.  You will now only have to worry about turnout.  I think City Hall will be getting their people out.  The problem will be in getting a bunch of basically apathetic people out.  You offer a stark contrast but will it get people to make a special trip to the polls to vote for you.  I hope so.
