You do NOT have to be registered republican to vote for republicans, go to polls and ask for republican ballot today.

If Romney takes the repub nomination then our horrible AG Bill Schuette will be  the next federal Attorney General, this guy is aweful, he wants to tell you how to live your life, not give you the freedom to choose for yourself.

I don't have time to type it all up now but I'll say we do not want a guy like Schuette as our AG.

I'm not real impressed with any of the candidates at this point. They all have their pro's and con's... main one against Ron is his foreign policy, particularly toward Iran. Romney looks/sounds like Obama lite. Newt is definitely the smartest of the bunch... and he's not afraid to tell you that. Santorum as a person is probably the most likeable but the religious talk turns me off to him.. I don't mind someone talking about religion but only to a point.

While much of the "mainstream" media continues to either ignore Texas Congressman Ron Paul altogether or speak dismissively of his Republican presidential campaign, a Rasmussen poll released Monday shows Paul leading President Barack Obama in a hypothetical match-up of the two candidates. Paul would be the choice of 43 percent of the voters, with 41 percent choosing the incumbent. Paul's narrow lead marks the first time he has come out ahead of the President in the Rasmussen Report's daily tracking poll.

Mitt Romney also enjoys a slim lead over Obama in the daily polling for the first time since December of last year. Rasmussen's survey shows the former Massachusetts Governor with a 45-43 lead over the President. Rick Santorum, Romney's main rival in Tuesday’s Michigan and Arizona contests, has the opposite result, with a 45-43 percent lead for Obama over the former Pennsylvania Senator.

Paul is the best choice to go up against Obama, as his policies are totally antipodal to Barack's:  he advocates strong fiscal conservatism, constitutional deployments of our military, fewer taxes, fewer government regulations, and reform of the welfare and warfare state.  Don't believe in Ron Paul and his chances watch this:

I like paul and a lot of his ideas but I agree with Dave about Pauls stance on Iran, about Romney and Santorum.

Well, I voted.... for Herman Cain. I voted for the candidate I wanted, knowing full well that he has no chance of winning.  When November comes, I'll vote again but at this point I'm not sure who I would vote for other then it wont be Obama... not sure if I'll vote republican either only because it will either be Romney or Santorum most likely (barring a come from behind win by Newt or Ron Paul).

I got mine in for Paul knowing he would not win the nom.

Santorum really took Mason county, I heard once from some out of staters that this area of the state was the 'bible belt of MI' and wonder if its true after seeing this repub primary!

I will vote GREEN/LIBERTARIAN/INDEPENDENT etc..in the general or any other smaller party when those are not available.

RE Iran: Leave em alone, IF we needed to we could nuke the whole middle east off the globe and move in and take it over. flatten the whole of it like Hiroshima/Nagasaki. I would feel bad for the animals, but the people well, tough luck. Just tell Iran that and walk away. Bet they would be surprised to hear an american be such a harda**!

Atlas, if we had more hardaxx people with gonads in DC, we wouldn't be in these daily fixes in the mid-east to begin with. As heard daily in the news and elsewhere, many are rattling their sabers at the USA these days. Even Mr. O has said we need to go into Pakistan, then there's Iran, Syria, Turkey, and gosh, who knows, maybe we need to go back to Kuwait, Afghanistan, and stay in Iraq for another 10 years too. I see where the primary results showed that about 80% of the territory in Michigan voted for Santorum, and about 20% voted Romney, too bad the vast populace was in the 20% area, that which can be bought and sold by those with Big Money. I saw Herman Cain the other nite, on O'Reilley I think, he still impresses me too. Newt, imho, is still the most viable and conservative idea and results person I would trust in the job right now, too bad he doesn't have Romney's money, and backing by the GOP establishment.
