These dogs will only allow you to touch the Frisbee if you can say the word "liberal" without frothing at the mouth and falling to your knees hoping St. Reagan will save you.

Kafka is named after the German-Czech writer and Xena is named after the TV character "Xena Warrior Princess." I used to name my German Shepherds after military figures from history or mythology ("Rommel" from WWII and "Ajax" from Greek mythology being two of the last ones. After a time I switched to writers or characters in literature. "Xena" was a compromise to my boys who were disappointed at having a girl dog after a long succession of boy dogs. They were satisfied when I explained that our new girl dog was named after a warrior princess.
You look like you have some happy dogs, Jane.
I will put pics of mine on my page
Aren't Kafka and Xena characters from the Video game Zelda?
Mr. Bailey, were you on a Conservative rant just before your sister ran away with her dog? Just askin'.
What, you thought a Progressive would name his dog after Grover Norquist instead of Franz Kafka?
I just love the beauty and intelligence projected by these fine looking canines. The levity again, eludes me though. I found the name of Kafka quite unique too, and upon investigation, could only find a Franz Kafka Czek born writer of the early 1900's, a very radical socialist writer of short novels. Wickopedia explained him in detail, quite anti-capitalistic for sure, among other oddities and quirks.
