AQUAMAN replied to XLFD's discussion A Downtown Domestic Incident
"Willy, again you make more astute observations. If there is any manual to follow for police dept. sizes, the ones they got here have been completely ignored, or just put in file 13. Both forces, LPD & MCSO, are both way over budgeted with double…"

AQUAMAN replied to XLFD's discussion A Downtown Domestic Incident
"That's a very astute observation Willy. I have been saying for many years the LPD has way too many officers on patrol. The dept. employs about 35-40 officers in total to my understanding. For a population  like ours, about 8,000 ppl.. We…"

"So right again Dave. Like I've said previously, that snow fence back in the day stayed down and wasn't put up until much later, like late October as memory serves me. Locals could enjoy the Stearns beach for much longer, without all the…"

XLFD commented on AQUAMAN's event Winter has started in Ludville again, way too early.
"Yep, the COL once again has decided to look at the calendar rather than the conditions on the ground.  High wind conditions and storms that produce them do not come out of thin air, they are usually forecasted days before they hit, giving the…"

Winter has started in Ludville again, way too early. at Ludville

September 14, 2021 from 6pm to 7pm
Must be the tourist season is about over now. DPW putting up 50-75 year old snow fences, picnic tables put away, concenssion stands closed, mini-golf closed, petunias being pulled, fish cleaning stations closing, resort boats pulled, clothing in stores for winter, not fall, flags on avenue being pulled down, and much, much more. Thank you COL for caring about the locals again, with disdain and dishonor to those paying taxes here, what a slap in the face continuing.See More

Yeah, it was an interesting night.  I let the City know that they needed a properly-noticed public hearing for their brownfield plan, they ignored me and passed their plan anyhow.  Additionally, I called the city manager a bold-faced liar, and he called me one too.

I am correct on both points, and have the proofs.

Thanks for the heads up on the wastewater.  I will digest that info, as John E Shay has a big interest in water and sewage.

I will try to check it out later today if I have a chance. Today I have to take photo's of some things I have for sale so a friend can show them to their contact. Need $$ for property taxes. Plus church this am and need to run to store after church. Also need to catch up since I'll be having the privilege of working next week too!  Maybe we will be able to get one of the credit cards down from maxed out level so we can get food during our next dry spell. Dunno if I'll have time to get wood to bring in or not today. But Hubby has been feeling well enough to help and do stove.

Yes I figured for the price you paid and what you got you got a really good deal!  Next time we come to Ludington maybe we should go to the range.  Let me know what you think.  We are probably coming in April.

Thank you for your kind words. It is so hard to not be active but I'm learning patience there too. Right now I have time, but normally have much else going on. I am so grateful that I've had volunteers (from church) helping me.
