SP 11-10-10 Kids Nowadays
"Sweep Me DPW"? Why can't these kids remove the tons of sand within the new skate park that were deposited there two months ago? Could it be that they forgot their brooms, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. at home and thoughtlessly just brought their skateboard? Bet they don't clean their room either. It will serve them right when one breaks their neck for their negligence. Ingrates!

You know, asking the kids to police everything from sand, to trash, to sweeping what the COL created is ridiculous at the Skate Park. If not, then why not have the kids also police Oriole Field, the soccer fields, the swimming pools, the track meet area, the tennis courts, and all the rest of the publicly funded areas for kids to recreate at? If the kids were required to do this to be able to use the area, then they would seldom have any time to recreate there to begin with. COL DPW, don't listen to the cronies on the city council. Just do your jobs the best you know how, and everyone will be happy with the outcome.
