On a brighter note, someone from Walhalla was just on Fox

When going to a break, they had a member of our military on saying hi to her friends and family and she mentioned she was from Walhalla, kind of wish I had been paying attention to who it was now. Its was nice though to see someone local on air and for something positive :-)

Speaking of Walhalla, did you hear that Walhalla finished 89th of all American towns in the Reader's Digest We Hear You America contest?  Ludington also did well finishing 97th, while little Armada finished 3rd.  Cheers, all!

Dave, I tried to google the Walhalla military man on Fox News, but couldn't find anything with a few searches.  Pardon me, while I resume Magooing the thread that Eve started.

Walhalla did win the Reader's Digest contest between them and Ludington, after I made a friendly contest with them earlier this year.  With 11,111 votes against Ludington's 9701, Walhalla finished 8 spots ahead, but well behind any of the ten big money finishers.  I pointed that fact out on both entries for the two cities, back in May. 

Our frequently-visiting trollie, who either is a juvenile or seriously needs some professional help, has recently found this out and is doing the usual defamatory posts against the Torch, fellow Torchers, and myself there now.  Just think, this may just be one of your public servants or their dependents.

Actually, the military member was a female that appeared. I'm sure sooner or later it will be known who it was... until then, let's all thank her and the other members of the military for the fine job they are doing :-)
