The Potential Government Shutdown

I love how certain parties are trying to blame one another about what could be a shutdown of the government... in particular, the democrats who are blaming the Tea Party more then anyone it seems.

Apparently they gloss over the fact that this budget should of been long taken care of and should of been dealt with when THEY had the power and control of both houses. If they want to blame anyone, they should blame themselves.

It's amazing how many morons we have in office at times.

They will get unemployment, still a cost of taxpayers at the state level not wash.

Actually the last time MI government was shut down for a few hours here in MI the cost was unbelievable. I think it was in Millions of $

according to news outlets, about 800,000 gov. workers will be out of work if the gov. shuts down. WOW! There are about 3,000,000 gov. employees, I, for one, will not miss them

Easy just think how much the Gov will save by putting them on a early vacation       Yea

What upsets me is the fact Obama is saying our military will not be getting paid to protect us.

Do you really think he cares? The big hold up now seems to be cutting funding for abortions of all things. I personally never cared for the idea of my tax dollars going to planned parenthood anyway, and its not my place to pay for someone else's abortion. O'bama has already said he will veto the bill if its comes as is to his desk.

 

Any one paying attention to the voter fraud going on in Wis. for the state judges. That will be the one to decide on the state employee bill they are trying to get into effect.

If Obama and the dem's didn't want the goverment shutdown they would have passed it last fall.   Way before the GOP took the house.   They needed something to get our eyes off him and his ---- up's

OMG, I was just watching the adult cartoon channel, otherwise known as C-span, talk about kids not being able to get along. Why isn't Ob letting everyone know who won, as he did before, now he's claiming both sides should try to get along. Things sure have changed. The dem's had control of both houses and the presidency and didn't pass a budget. Guess they figured another trillion dollar budget would hurt them at the polls last year, much more than it did anyway.

But isn't the fact that the repubs passed a bill, the fact The king's network "news" channels said what was holding it up...Dems refusing to give up their pork funding, and their mention no budget was passed last year going to hurt his majesty...(Errr I mean Obama I keep forgetting he's not our King yet)

Well, it looks like the D&R crowd finally got together at the last minute to achieve about $38B in cuts, not the $60B wanted, and promised. So, who won? And Mr. O gave a nice rendition of "we are the people" lastly, biting his tongue all the way. And for what? Sadly, the American public didn't really win a big battle, just a small one. And the beat of Washington on the backs of the public continues. Something like 800,000 people on the Federal payroll were deemed not critical nor really necessary if the gov't. had to be shut down, does that bespeak of the waste here in just the slightest manner? Just a slight head in the right direction, but, not nearly enough for real progress, imho.
