I was out riding my bicycle on this nice October day by the residence of a lady I know.  She is beautiful, yet simple; she is the ward of a guardian, whose decisions are made for her.  She was adopted long ago with strict rules given by the parents as to how she was to be taken care of.  Recently, her guardianship has changed and the rules were mostly forgotten.

I noticed a truck that belonged to a friend of the new guardian.  Concealed by some nearby foliage, I seen him taking advantage of her.  Before I could do anything, I saw two more of the guardian's friends drive their vehicles up to her place, and they got out and joined in the assault.  I wanted to call 911, but knew the guardian was a co-worker and a very good friend of the local police chief, who would allow this to continue.  I sneaked off, disgusted, and went home to get my camera, so as to chronicle the nasty development to help her in the future.

When I got back, the vehicles had left and this poor lady was hurting.  She had multiple cuts all over her body, and they had even spray painted her all over. It looked painful and I took pictures of the hurt they had inflicted on her.  Before I could even think of doing more, they came back and brought some more friends with them.  The anguish I felt with not being to help this lady was great, but I went away while they came back at her.  Once again they assaulted her, cutting her up, damaging her beyond immediate repair.  I took more pictures of the carnage, but they paid little attention to me-- they knew I couldn't help her out, and they had weapons.

They continued this for the rest of the afternoon, cleaned up a little bit afterwards, and left.  I consoled her afterwards, but knew there was little I could do to help her before they would come back again and do worse to her.  Tomorrow the raping will continue.

What a funny story! I've been there, Sheila, which is why I posted the comment. We always owned two dogs at a time, and I usually had the dubious distinction of being chief poop scooper at our house. What was even more frustrating was trying to clean it up after it snowed - usually impossible. Funny now when I think of it, but a hateful task in the spring when the snow melted. I just can't imagine multiplying that by the number of dogs that will be taking their potty breaks in the dog park.

Jeep Girl, you need to lighten up a bit. For me, this forum is relaxing after a long day at a stressful job and in the early morning when I'm psyching myself out to begin my day. I'm neutral on the dog park, but I'll be interested in finding out how well the rules are followed.
Cute pup Sheila, what breed is that? Yes, Jeep Girl, you're right about the two park's maintenance policies, it's up to the users to keep it clean, and if not, then the Gestapo's come and close it till it is clean again. It is a good idea to clean up in a contained area that is used by many others, as well as public walkways and sidewalks. Just remember, wipe your feet, I remember that from mom very well too Mary. Fortunately, I don't worry about that, cause I'm a country boy, not city boy. So, when I run Hildy on my own 8 acres, or the 80 acre private farm, we just go and enjoy, and let it be, like Paul McCartney sang. Besides, it draws in the deer too, and occasional bobcat. He -he.
Let's abide by the Terms of Service, Old Man and Jeep Girl. Personal attacks are not allowed here. The following term was violated by using material in a manner that is libelous or defamatory, or in a way that is otherwise threatening, abusive, violent, harassing, malicious or harmful to any person or entity, or invasive of another's privacy;
no, x did not ask me about the video. nor did he ask me before he identified my real name.

"in a manner that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person's explicit consent"

so now who's breaking the rules... the creator himself. it seems that's all this forum is for. which is why i have chosen not to participate anymore.
Isn't that video available in the LDN archives, Jen, for pro-dog park purposes? Come now; he hasn't attacked you, only the veracity of some of the crap you put up on here, just like I did.

And why don't you explain to the rest of the class why Joe Moloney's actions as a public servant is not open to public critique? I am totally OK with a dog park, but not one made like it has been done in this case.
i didn't say he attacked me. i said he told everyone my real name without my consent.
Actually, based on your arguments, your name, and the name that came up again and again in my research I made a presumption that you may have been Jen Mladucky in an October 11 post, which you affirmed. If you chose to remain anonymous you could have.

The only reason I brought it up in the first place was that if you did affirm my presumption, I could ask you more about this dog park and expect you to know the answer. As a frontman for this project I would expect you not to choose to be anonymous-- that is, if the project was on the up-and-up ; )

I still don't get what you're saying, EyE, but my patience is wearing thin with your misstatements.

Let's play where's waldo(poop), which is poo and which is leaves. Can you find the poo?

See how hard is is to see the poop. This is just from today and there is are three poo's worth there.

Here is the back tie out. Can't find it here either can ya.

BTW, its all cleaned up now.

But the point is that it is very difficult to see it among the leaves.

Also Mary, the whole snow thing adds even more difficulty to the cleanup. I have a really nice tool for cleanup, it is two parts and one is for scooping and the other for carrying it, sort of like a hoe and a shovel. But in the snow I get out the snow shovel and use the spade shovel to fill that because the tool I have has metal. I have found that if I spray all the cleanup tools with cooking spray the poo doesn't stick so bad in winter.
I am curious as to whether or not they are going to remove those stumps. Those are very dangerous to the dogs. How can they get a good run going if they are stumbling, tripping and swerving around stumps. It would have been better to leave the trees up.
Sheila, you keep referring to poop as poo, isn't poo like Winnie the Pooh? and poop is just crap? Har. which also seems where some on this thread are going too, crappy attacks, all over nothing-a-do. I agree, let's all keep a harmonic theme and polite tone, we're all better than this.
It'd be difficult to find the poop without having Dave walk through it with his new white shoes, poorly fitting or not. No surer way of finding all three poo-poos than that.
