U S House Rep Chalie Rangel step down from leadership post.. at least for now

About time! It amazes me how this guy has managed to keep his leadership post in the house Ways & Means commitee with several ethics violations hanging over his head including one about not paying taxes. The guy should probably be sitting in a jail cell and should be glad that he'll probably end up just retiring.

So far he hasn't gotten much of anything but hopefully in due time, assuming that he's guilty of course, will get what's coming to him.

I think he is stepping down hoping the heat will go away . but it sounds like there is more (heat) to come in his future.
