Thank you for saving my eyesight

What a relief. I can now read the posts without squinting or have an after glow of letters running across my eyes. This is much better and I like the hot header. Thanks.

The new changes aren't without costs.  Changing the "appearance editor' to the latest one they recently made available has probably wiped out the personalized "My Page" you had before.  With the new editor, you might be able to make these even better than before.  Anybody who notices any other problems let me know. 

I have been trying to make the very light blue script that tells you how long ago a post has been posted on the main page-- as well as the number of members in the groups-- darker, but haven't yet found the controls for that.

The new script for the name of this site was created a while ago, but the old editor made it so that I would have had to superimpose it on the picture.

I was as surprised as you, RJE, when I saw the picture.  Just remember, this is Lando's month at the helm, and she's dabbing at the easel for now.  It's not that easy to make things work out right.

I know variety is the spice of life and all... But my eyes cant handle all the changes too well either. Dark on dark is well dark it all looks the same!!! AHHHH!!!!

Okay, changed thbody color back. And it looks like the pics are making the pages load funny, dang I worked on stitching those for like an hour so the flowed in both frames halfway decent.

Okay so does anyone elses pages load real bad with the pic up? it only takes a sec to change it back if necessary.

Well, the frame where the upper pic is(behindwhere it says Lud torch) shows up black for a sec and the one where the lower pic is (where is says main/mypage etc..) shows up dark blue. then it lags for a minute and finally pops up with the pics there looking proper.

 

I have had trouble with my comps doing this on other sites so I figure I'll leave them there if it is just mine doing it. basically lag issues.

Also do you see a black and blue stripe on the upper right hand corner of the screen? If I ctrl - to make the screen zoom out it is there, if I CTRL + to zoom in it goes away.  That means I need to widen the pic if it is there with the screen set at base zoom.

 

I will fix it up tomorrow when nobody is on so that it doesn't change each time somebody reloads a screen.

The banner picture clarity seems to be less than the original pic you showed me earlier, Lando.  Did this just happen or was it because you had to re-size them?  I applaud your diligence in meshing the two panels together, I know I had little success in putting pictures there in my first efforts. 

Perhaps we could also make the forum's comments a little bit larger also-- it might make some of us have less squint-lines in our old age.
