Welcome to the light at the end of the tunnel.
No official word has been given, but hearsay has it that they were displeased with the people on the forums actually talking about what was happening in Ludington. This did not reflect the high standards of the Ludington Daily News, LOL.
As long as you follow the minimal NING rules, the Terms of Service at the bottom, you can speak freely here. No matter what you say, not everyone will always agree with you, so be warned. The network creator is not part of the local good ol' boy network, and a bit of a rebel, and encourages critique, positive and negative, about the area.
Strong words from someone using an alias herself, Ms. "Sally Victoria Smith". If you hadn't heard, the Creator of this site's name is Tom Rotta. He is XLFD. If you want to disprove the stuff he and others say on here, you can present your case with proof. Otherwise, you come here with "ridiculous claims" yourself, and an obvious agenda.
Sally Jesse, poofed themselves.
And they're probably poofing themselves while they're getting off to putting up dumb posts.
Iunderstood that LT was having problems keeping up with the babysitting on LT and running the new epaper plus the site. Andy does it all.
Edie & XFLD & Dave understand very well the problems with needing to constantly babysit the site to remove the hit n run childish posts.
They are pushing the internet e version...They just revamped it but I'm not sure how interest is in it. I know it is cheaper than the print version but if you get print version you automatically are able to get the online one.
Masonco, we get our share of crib-crashers enter through the door, but we don't have bosses and deadlines to deal with here. The worse things we get here are people who come here and sling mud at other members they have gripes with. Cyberbullies. You, Aquaman, and I have had our share of those attacks.
I hope the LDN presses on; the heavy burden of possibly being the main news source of Mason County will eat too much into my free time.
