Polar vortex or Alberta clipper

The cold weather we have been experiencing lately has been hijacked by the Global warming crowd and it's being called the Polar Vortex. Since I was a tyke we called it an Alberta Clipper but the progressives as we all know can't let an opportunity go by to scare folks into thinking this is some kind of new phenomenon. I've seen much worse than this and so has Planet Earth.

Now, Willy, you surely must accept the fact that cold extremes is the clearest sign of man-made global warming.  Back before we had politicized climatology, this was just simply called a change in the weather, and attributed to cool sounding things like the Alberta Clipper.  The polar vortex makes me think we are being molecularly transported to the geographic north pole by anal-probing aliens. 

This is also the same thing as the Siberian Express (from TWC:   SIBERIAN EXPRESS A fierce, cold flow of air that originates in Siberia, then moves into Alaska and northern Canada before moving southward into the United States.)
