On May 15 there will be an important meeting open to the public. This meeting will be about the upgrading of Ludington's, Hamlin twp. and Pere Marquette twp. master plans. Unbeknown to most people is that the company {LIAA} that is sponsoring this meeting is promoting U.N. agenda 21 to radically alter our life style in order to combat "Global warming". Agenda 21 is a radical document. I hope to see everyone there. The buzzword now used by promoters of Agenda 21 is "Resilient" which has been added to "sustainability". Below is a video I posted before but still has a lot of information. Other links are posted to demonstrate how promoters of Agenda 21, which includes the folks holding this meeting, show how "Reslient" is being spread throughout the Country. The companies name is Land Information Access Association. http://www.shorelinemedia.net/ludington_daily_news/news/local/artic...

On the National Day of Prayer (May 1), I attended along with area government executives, governing boards, and planning committees a three hour presentation about placemaking (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Placemaking) hosted and attended by LIAA representatives. I hope to give you a report on that soon. No prayers here, just a Local Day of Placemaking.
Placemaking itself originated shortly before the basics of Agenda 21 were codified, but placemaking is an effectively neutral way to package some of the more controversial policies of the program. Here is a link put out by a Northern Michigan resident (see also pt. 2 in that link) where she draws out that link somewhat.
I hope to see a lot of the public turn out, whether they want to speak, or just get more informed on what their tax money is being used for. The future of Mason County in the eyes of a sustainability proponent is a lot different than what it is now.
