Ugly too posted Col. West's speech recently. It was applaudible. Thanks for the heads up Max, good work. The Prez. should read this, so he knows the difference.

Didn't hear about them before, but it sounds and reads like a good group needed in this day and age. Too bad politicians are excluded from this organization, but then again, so are lawyers, so their integrity remains intact, LOL.
Those who take oaths like all our armed services, police, firefighters, and especially almost all public officials should remain true to their oaths. The public needs to do their job and hold them accountable when they don't. This group apparently wishes to police their own, which is always commendable.
Doin battle over there again, on numerous issues. Just like a fish, it has a great fight, but in the end, must get in the net. Wafers, Koolaid, and all.

Consider the Torch, as currently constituted, a Fortress of Solitude wherein to recharge your batteries and engage in conversation with reasonable people. But warmer...

Max,
I saw in the intro that you need to be active in the military, LEO, FF, et.al. Is that set in stone, and if it is, which do you belong to, if I may ask?

Actually no, you don't need to be active in the military. That is just what they prefer. If you have never served in the military or an LEO, etc. you are still welcome.

OK, I read that in the "Join" bar, after I read your post. I support the concept of the organization; keep us informed on what they are busy at from time to time, Max, and feel free to create a group on TLT based on similar principles with cheaper membership fees (i.e. free).

Unlike the Ludington City Council and our featless leader, John Shay, the Torch will not raise your fees-- maybe your blood pressure, but never your fees.
