This site only berates individuals in the town attempting to do their jobs, with some other focuses on events unrelated to Ludington. Was the "torch" selected because you, Tom Rotta, just want to burn down the town's reputation due to some childish grudge you hold for events in the past? Or, do you just like to stir up drama and criticize public officials for doing their jobs? The world needs positive members of society now more than ever, and not your semi-incoherent rants on matters that don't concern you and only degrade the validity of this website. Try disconnecting your Internet, go outside, and actually do something positive for the community instead of just bitching all the time.

Isn't it special when somebody joins an established website and chides the administrator for berating individuals (and in full disclosure, I do some berating of those 'attempting' to do their public jobs-- and failing in those attempts) and then goes on to berate the administrator.
Some would find fault with my disclosure of a person's name after their death, and well after the sheriff disclosed the name to family members. They then may join the site, Like "Remington" just has, and disclose my personal name, even though I go by the name XLFD on this website. We too have rules here that say: Members agree not to use the Ludington Torch "in a manner that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person's explicit consent." Violation of those rules can get you thrown off the website for not playing fair.
I never gave Remington my explicit consent to use my Christian name. Now, isn't that hypocritical of him/her to join and rally support to his/her cause when they are guilty of what they were upset about?
Fortunately, I'm educated enough to discern the difference between true public servants and those involved only for personal gain. A Masters in Political Science slightly helped my understanding and interpretation of the law of the land. Is that good enough, or am I now corrupted as well? It isn't that someone as "uneducated" as myself cannot comprehend these forum discussion, but rather we recognize the lack of value they bring to a community. After reading some posts further, it's evident that some include slander and libel against the Sheriff who if inclined, could sue you for defamation of character. It's something you may want to consider in the future. Also, thank you for showing your education level by referencing a conspiracy theory.
A masters in political science? That's the next step down from a septic tank certification. I hope your parents didn't pay for your education because they certainly thru away their retirement money on it. You might as well have gotten a degree in Phallus studies for all the good an education has done for you.
'Relivence' ?! Could you mean 'relevance'?
Next time, have your spell check on when you come here and talk about me being uneducated. Grammar check and punctuation check would be helpful too, just sayin'. It will help make your other unfounded points look better to your fellow trolls, as well. Thanks, and thank your buddies who continue to keep us safe by keeping us ignorant.
Rupert must be dumber than the sheriff.
The FAMILY put his name out there!!!!
Shit, they had THREE DONATION CANS and a GOFUNDME out before the Sheriff even cared!
Mr Pubkin. I would be honored if you would share the half a dozen reasons why the police wouldn't release a subjects name right away. The catch is they have to relate to this case and not be some obscure reason such as a victim being found under Shay's back porch.
Save Ludington!
Release the names....
Well, Go talk to Rob Alway then,,,,,,,
