The news is full of misinformation and lies. Everything is political. This is the case with the Coronavirus. One of the motives behind this hoax is to undermine the U.S. economy and Trump.

While Michigan's Governor declares a state of emergancey over a few people getting sick and the World Health organization declares the coronavirus a pandemic they all ignore the thing that causes the most deaths per year in the U.S. and the World. That would be abortion. at over 40 million deaths per year I think that beats coronvirus hands down. I'm not posting this to debate abortion, it's just to show what societies priorities are.
The President's oval office speech tonight was very sobering, complex, and unifying for all Americans right now. Many new initiatives and steps are being implemented to assure us all of the best, safest, and fastest actions on many new and common fronts are all being addressed. Meanwhile the Dems. are again condemning and criticizing the heck out of the entire situation. The President has called for calm and unity by all now, not to politicize this crisis as usual, but come together as a people to fight all that may come into the future. Meanwhile, Pelosi is supposed to present a bill to the congress Thursday to halt the President's ability to restrict traveling, and that needs to be cancelled in it's entirety, very bad idea to begin with, esp. right now.
What is the matter with people. Out of 7.7 billion people in the World, 4,000 of them have died from COVID 19. Medical errors alone cause over 250,000 deaths per year in the U.S. You have a much better chance of dying from a stay in the hospital. While watching Trump's speech I could only compare it to Roosevelt's 1941 speech after the Pearl Harbor bombing. Roosevelt's speech was truly urgent and necessary because it was about the possible impending doom of the World whereas Trump was only trying to calm the waters stirred up by a corrupt media trying to convince people that there exists a catastrophic event. There is no comparison between this continuing virus hysteria and the truly tragic history of the past. I'm glad Trump gave the speech, even tho I know he had to sound drastic I wish he would have told the people to stop acting like children and to look at the facts instead of absorbing all the lies and conspiracy being spread by the mainstream media and the political left. One thing to remember despite what you may have heard is that the Corona-virus is not new.
List of 18 Michigan colleges "online" only (so far). Imagine what this is going to tempt all the kids "out of school" to do with spare time at home? Will they sit home and study harder?

After watching the news tonight, and the past 24 hours, it appears this crazy country has gone overboard totally into panic mode. Cancellations, suspensions, and fear appear all over the place with sports, schools, vacationers, media, politics, business, the stock market, and much more. I haven't seen anything like this here in my lifetime. The USA has the best doctors, scientists, & health specialists in the entire world. Hope this changes by next week, but, I'm afraid already it's going to go even more viral, sad, and disturbing.
The insanity continues. In a State of over 9,800,000 people only 12 people have contracted Coronavirus, the Gonvernor in her lack of wisdom and common sense is closing down all of the States schools. This is irresponsible madness. Our threat is not from a virus but from fear mongering politicians and media.
LANSING, Mich. (WTVG) - The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the health departments in Ingham, Kent, Montcalm, Oakland, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties announced today 10 adults tested presumptive positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
This brings the state total of COVID-19 cases to 12.
“We continue to urge Michiganders to take precautions to prevent the spread COVID-19 in our state,” said Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, chief medical executive and chief deputy for health. “We have to proactively implement community mitigation strategies that will help prevent the spread of the disease, and particularly protect our most vulnerable Michiganders.”
Now, the governor has closed all Michigan schools through April 5.
Clinical specimens were collected from the individuals and sent to the MDHHS Bureau of Laboratories where they tested presumptive positive for COVID-19. The specimens will be sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for confirmation testing.
Let's not forget the real enemy that strikes every year and barely raises the hair on the necks of politicians and the media.https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/preliminary-in-season-estimate...
Here are the CDC statistics for the Corona virus. The majority of the deaths were in a nursing home in Washington State.
