The article has been removed by the COLDNews, but I did find a cache of the story

"A trooper from the Michigan State Police, Cadillac Post responded to a report of a 13-year-old boy who had overdosed on concentrated THC known as "dab" Tuesday evening.

According to the report, the suspect knowingly supplied "dab" to the victim. The trooper developed a suspect identity and information tin order to obtain a search warrant for the suspect's home in Benzoinia Township in Benzie County.

The Traverse Narcotics Team, Michigan State Police Troopers and Benzie County Sheriff's Office Deputies all executed the search warrant at the suspect's home without incident.

Troopers seized "dab" and other items from the home. The suspect did not resist officers and was cooperative with investigators. Charges are currently being sought through the Benzie County Prosecutor's Office.

The victim was treated at Munson Hospital in Traverse City and was released."

The chatter on this story is pretty amusing, the above is a sampling of the grief the COLDNews got before they pulled it.

Here are some of the other posts I screen shot before they finally removed the article from Facebook.  Considering that the COLDNews and MCP have gone out of their way to block me and other malcontents from posting meaningful comments to their propaganda pieces it is very clear there is a lot of people around who think poorly of the COLDNews-- and it's because they are a joke when it comes to real news.

This has every indication of being a fake news story made presumably to call negative attention to dabs, of which I personally didn't know of before.  The other local media that covered it TV 9&10, TV 7&4 have ran videos or stories without anybody involved with this alleged case.

Yes, MCP and LDN blocks anyone who doesn't agree to their lies. Pathetic!

I don't have access to Facebook and one of the links did't work. What exactly is going on in this topic?

The COLDNews took the article off their Facebook page and regular site, which may be part of the reason you can't find it anywhere.

It's one of those stories that appear around this time of year that seems suspicious, like a 'fake news' story masquerading as a public service announcement designed by the MSP.  I am impressed that a lot of COLDNews readers, not previously banned from the site, recognized the story as such and called Shoreline Media on it.

Retracting the article seems to verify that scenario, the two other northern Michigan TV stations reporting on it had nobody from the MSP talking about this, only clinicians advising about the dangers of dabbing.   Even if the story turns out to be true, there seems to be some dispute as to their use of 'overdose' in the story.

Thanks For the explanation X.
