I know its a little late with games starting just after noon tomorrow but thought we could have a little bit of fun with a bracket of our very own. Norfolk State all the way!  Be sure to get a hold of Dave before noon tomorrow, or I can probably get you there if he's not around in the morning.  When you get to the long list of bracket names, search for "The Torch".

BTW, I thought the name of the group you created "The Torch Bracket" was very clever as well, Dave.

 

I'm not telling you who I actually picked to go all the way, knowing that you are a Wolverine fan at heart.

When trying to think of a name for the group, I had an epiphany.... ok.... it took about 2 seconds to think of the name, figured it should be something torch related and that made sense... lol

Did I call 15 seeded Norfolk State's upset of Missouri or what? 

Dave, I missed on Sportscenter who Michigan is going to be playing in the second round, could you let me know, ASAP?

Apparently, only Dave and I were officially registered before the deadline, but we have a spirited contest going so far.  We have both made the same amount of correct predictions (we're both running at 67%, for now) but he has one more point than I.  However, I like my potential-- I have 108 possible points remaining, while he has only 92.  Game on.

We'll both be hurting some going into the later rounds.. we both picked teams that have already lost as our Final Four picks.. me with Georgetown, you with Duke... plus your pick of North Carolina could be in trouble as I heard that their star player is out possibly for the rest of the tourney... just enough drama in the tourney to make it interesting for us in this little competition.

I was to late to sign up. I forgot about it and missed the boat but I would have been in the same boat as you guys because I would have picked Duke to be in the final 4. Go State.
