Apparently in just moments, Rick Santorum is going to suspend his campaign. Been several people offering their opinions on why he's doing it, most of them saying that its just the political reality that he's probably not going to win his home state which would probably effectively end his chances. Another variable could very possibly be his daughter that has been sick.. think I heard he left the campaign trail over the weekend to be with her.

With Santorum out and Newt sounding like he's throwing in the towel, it just leaves Ron Paul and Romney in the mix... which in reality will probably turn into a Romney nomination. I know there are Paul supporters here but the simple reality is that its unlikely that Paul makes up the pretty wide difference in delegates at this point.

Santorum has suspended, and Ron Paul isn't likely to get the Republican nomination, but Ron Paul's supporters are still the most dynamic force out there, and they better not get ignored (or ridiculed) by either party.

Seems like when any notable politician supports freedom of religion and strict constitutional principles, they get repeatedly attacked and ridiculed to no end. I wish his daughter, sick in the hospital again, well.
