Will the Epworthians be sequestered for 14 days when they open this year?
This is a legitimate question as other states are requiring that out of state people remain quarantined for at least two weeks after they arrive.
It would be very easy to enforce as there is only one access point. The sheriff could assign one of the new additional officers with round the clock enforcement since there wont be much need for road patrol. Any food or supplies they need, they could be left outside at the guard shack.
The sheriff could borrow the old advertising line ''You can check in but you cant check out.''
The only question would be, do you let them out after they have been here for two week individually or do you wait until the last Epworthian arrives and then start the countdown?
After 2 or 3 weeks they could be allowed to rejoin the local population.

With all the beach erosion they may come back and find half the cottages in Lake Michigan

What I find interesting is a recent July 2019 COLDNews article that explains the folks populating the resort village:
"Cottages are occupied by families from around the country and around the world, some of whom also have homes in Ludington. Many cottagers come from Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Arkansas, and as far as California and Spain."
Looks like it could be a breeding ground for COVID-19 even if they just keep to themselves. Each of those states and Spain have significant numbers as of now. Mason County and our sister, Lake County, are currently case-free, at least officially.
