Group Sexy: Rules for Establishing R-Rated Groups

A member has recently respectfully asked about setting up a group for the display of beautiful images of gals.  I see nothing inherently wrong with the request as long as we can remain within the Terms of Service and keep it private, so that those who may not wish to view such, do not have to.  This is my initial draft of how I think we can make this work, if someone wants to start one.  These standards, slightly adjusted, would also figure in if the gals want one with guys.  Poetry and prose with adult themes could also be considered with these guidelines.

Here is the three terms of service that may apply to the type of content you may not use in the group proposed:

- any content containing child pornography ;
- any content that depicts or contains rape, extreme violence, murder, bestiality, incest, or other similar content;
- any content that constitutes pornography, contains nudity, or is adult in nature.

Presuming the models are of age (18) and not engaging in any sexual or extremely violent act (both being a must for this group to continue), we really need only to define what 'nudity' entails.  State law defines "public nudity" as knowingly or intentionally displaying in a public place any individual's genitals or anus with less than a fully opaque covering or a female individual's breast with less than a fully opaque covering of the nipple and areola.

Strictly speaking, any woman displayed shall not have her genitals, anus, or nipples uncovered, and visible to the camera's view.  Skimpy bathing suits, lingerie, and suitably photographed 'nudity' which follows the above guidelines will be acceptable. Artwork, animation, anime, and sculpture may be given some further leeway.

Likewise this might also apply:  do not post in a manner that is libelous or defamatory, or in a way that is otherwise threatening, abusive, violent, harassing, malicious or harmful to any person or entity, or invasive of another's privacy.

Make sure you have the model's permission to display any pictures, and not doing any of the above.  This may not be applicable if we are talking about another site's model, who presumably has already given such consent.  The group leader or administrators may eliminate content which violates any of the above or if it is brought to our attention that some content is copyrighted or goes beyond the rules.  Have a disclaimer in the groups application that reminds those who would join that by applying they confirm they are at least 18 and will comply with any or all rules in the group, if affirmed.  Throw out those who don't play by the rules.  Have fun.

bravo govner. ill see what i can whip up using the guidelines you suggest. questions... when one defines opaque does that mean naturally opaque but not opaque when someone accidently ha ha moistens the fabric. how do you varify someones age. will it be private private or can some twit like we have been visited by recent come and be stupid.
i will see what i can whip up some night this week, but i may need some help with it.
If determining opacity for an image is not fairly clear (pun intended), that is something that may have to be determined. If you are going to do this Charle, you will notice group creation isn't too difficult; and it will be closed down if it gets out of hand (no pun intended).
With a wee bit of Photo-shopping, I could probably stack up against your potential beefcake babes. Where do I get an application?

Seriously, though, why would you bow to pressure from a brand-new unvetted member to create a private group in this forum that could be degrading to women and might be offensive to some on this forum? Is this really the direction you want to take this site? And haven't you learned your lesson from the so-called "private" Soup Rehab debacle? Nothing is private on the Internet. Nothing. You could be treading dangerous waters, fellas, because this could get out of hand.

If you lustful guys (and gals???) want to view photos of half-naked people, I'm sure there are plenty of sites out there where you can blissfully fulfill your cravings for a price. I vote to take your beef elsewhere. Enough said.
I AGREE WITH mARY. a. NO PrON GROUP HERE PLEASE. THANKS.

2 NAYS SO FAR.
OBTW, I AM NO PRUDE BUT THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR IT AND IT COULD CAUSE TROUBLE WITH COPYRIGHTS, TRADEMARKS AND LEGAL AGE QUESTIONS THAT SEEM NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.

pLUS X, i THINK YOUR BEING BAITED.
tut tut sheila. next thing you will be calling me a master baiter.

my interest stems from having participated in a hot girl thread for a college football cite. the cite itself was melded into a bigger one and lost the thread. i always followed the rules as a true gentleman should. i would do my best here but i dont want to offend the ladies here either. if i have i am sorry but my vision is to create a group where damsels are placed on a pedestal and cherished. you have the equal right to follow my dream as well ladies.
I don't think you get it. A true gentleman wouldn't be trying to promote this feature on the Torch. Offerings on this site should be of interest to a general adult population. Titilative photos of scantily-clad women in suggestive poses do not fit that description. Why don't you join another site more tailored to your needs and desires where you can leer at those kinds of photos and get your jollies? As an alternative, get a subscription to Playboy. Better yet, find a real lady friend that you can cherish and put on a pedestal.
haha, I had a sub to PB for years. Takes four hours to actually read the mag.
Yuck, who wants to look at scantily clad men!

Lets face it, men are hella ugly no matter what. photo shop cannot even do them justice.
Sheila,
I think you are looking at the wrong type of men - some are absolutely beautiful.
I think our troll likes to look at scantily clad men, due to the choice of images he's posted. I like looking at that man in the silvered glass looking back at me.

Whether Charle starts this or not, or anyone else for that matter, we do have some ground rules and the ability to keep it from the Main Street of the Torch, while even staying within the TOS and staying true to our first amendment ideals.
Thank you for your input, Sheila and Mary, you have some very legitimate concerns. We don't necessarily need something like this on our forum, but it is good to have rules set up about what can be allowed. Charlemagnetism at least has been playing fairly so far and seems willing to ask and comply with ground rules. Another has came here and posted much worse in our free forums contrary to rules and good taste.

When there was a bunch of hubbub about the 'Girls Gone Wild' bus coming to town this summer, Chief Barnett, the city attorney, and city council met to see whether they could prevent them from doing so. The city had their own rules in place on the charter, and the state had more. They couldn't prevent them from coming here due to first amendment protections, but they could limit most of their activities, and did. As the LPD did, I will closely monitor the activity, and I'm sure Dave will too, to see that there is no problems such as you mentioned.

As of right now, there really is no protection from someone coming on and putting a lot of cheesecake photos in the forums or photos sections-- but not everyone wants to see this. As created this will (hopefully) protect those who don't, and a good reason why I haven't resisted the idea more.
