Are those lines wider spaced at the Loomis Boat Launch?

Anybody got a pic. to post? I also noticed of recent that the new handicapped post set in cement near the top of the ramps, after being hit by innocent drivers not anticipating such an obstacle until this late summer, has been removed finally. I guess the gestapo signage people finally got the message that it was a nuisance and traffic hazard. I almost ran into it twice myself.

Yup, thanks David. Went to Loomis St. ramp today and sure enough, newly painted lines. I don't believe what I saw again now. Instead of altering the lines to be wider and longer for most mid-size boats, they again repeated the mistakes of the last crew. These painters should be aware that not all trucks and boats launching there are rowboats towed by mini-trucks. Not even close. Well, I guess this will only continue to frustrate and confuse the entire parking lot area for the 2014 season. And of course set the stage for more ticketing. I wish someone within the COL government with a tad of common sense would at least visit another launch ramp where the parking anticipates many sorts of boat sizes, and truck sizes. I can tell you this. Noone with a dually or long-bed truck with any boat over 22' in length, can park there legally, and without getting a ticket. Is this what the COL wants to project to out-of-town fisherman? Is this what residents want to project to boaters too?
