here is the quote I am using from her facebook anonomously (girl or lady? as she is my age within a couple years.)

"i just got kicked out of one area of our beach for having my dog down there when there are like 13 other ppl with their dogs. pisses me off i guess if you actually live here and pay taxes you dont matter."

and her reply to a couple questions/comments "i am so ticked. i told him off and pointed out the other dogs but he wouldnt say anything to the other people"

And another reply further on

" am. im gonna take it up with the council tomorrow for sure"

I linked her to this site for more info on our city's digressions.

I have yet to see any enforcement of leash laws at any beach. I'm suprised she was singled out.

I have seen the full-time rangers at the Lud State Park enforce the "No Dogs on the Beach" laws, they used to enforce this even without being notified, if they had the rangers available.

Are we aware yet of the beach she was singled out at?  If the new Bikini Patrol Stearn's Beach Rangers are doing this, I wouldn't be surprised.

The part south of the breakwall where dogs were allowed before the dog park was built. Sorry thought I had copied that over.

Interesting-- that area is still a 'dog park', as far as I know, complete with signage and poop gloves.  See if you can get more on this, the story seems incomplete so far.

The area your talking about is just south of the boat launch. North of the boat launch is off limits to dogs.

She only said "the one on the left side of the breakwall". So I assume that is just to the south of the breakwall.
In todays paper, there was no mention of any irate dog owner at the Council meeting.  Any more beef at her Facebook page, or was it just a spur of the moment rant?
