The Michigan Primaries are coming up at the end of this month on February 28, The Ludington Torch is having a brief caucus before that time to try and figure out who we should endorse for this upcoming vote.  We have managed to get seven informational messages from each candidate, including ones from Michelle Bachman, Herman Cain, Rick Perry, and even Barack Obama-- but there was a problem.  We lost the audio on each.

Good news: we sent the videos to an outfit who could correct this problem cheaply due to our restricted budget.  Bad news: the outfit was named BadLipReading, and they lived up to their name.  Enjoy the videos, and vote for which candidate you would vote for based on these videos by sending me a message or by voting in the comment section.  We will post the preliminary results in two weeks.  Enjoy, and check out some other of BLR's videos.

Mitt Romney:  "I was happy and then your sister threw a sea fish at my TV"

Rick Santorum:  Fairy Crutches are B.S.

Ron Paul:  "You're a pony and you want to have this cookie.  Free Bananas."

Newt Gingrich:  [Video here:  Embedding disabled on request]  "I wanna crump, but I don't wanna push it."

Herman Cain:  "Mexican people don't eat sugar especially when its a mixture of lice and tiger DNA"

Michelle Bachman:  "You're gonna wish you could buy me a tin cup for all these nickels"

Rick Perry:  "Save a pretzel for the gas jets"

Or maybe you want to cast a vote for President Obama, who shows he can really belt out a tune.

Barack Obama:  "Trick the Bridesmaid."

Thanks for posting these videos. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Whoever put these together has talent. It's pretty hard to pick the best one but I guess I'm going with 1. Rick Perry 2. Michelle Bachmann 3. Herman Cain. One thing I love about the internet is that it has given a lot of people a way to show off their talents.

I find it interesting you chose the three republicans who have dropped out of the race already.  Maybe the lack of success in the presidential race corresponds to their success for the bad lip reading caucus?

I thought they were hilarious as all get out, as well, which is why I had to do a repost-- to share my mirth.

The votes from 4 sources have been tabulated and the winners... are the losers.

The best results came from the lower tier, those already out of serious campaigning, according to the voters.  Maybe it was because they were put at the tail end, and us voters had short term memories of what made them laugh.

1.  Rick Perry

2.  Herman Cain

3. (tie) Rick Santorum

     Ron Paul

     Michelle Bachmann

If you haven't reviewed them yet do so now, they are very funny.  Here's an encore performance by the winner of the West Michigan Bad Lip Reading primary:
