30 minutes or less

I finally rented the movie 30 minutes or less which contains scenes filmed in Ludington at the vacant bank downtown. I had heard people talk about how nice it was to see Ludington on the big screen. What noone ever said that I heard was how disgusting the movie was. It starts out with the "victim" delivering a pizza and shows a scene where he is smoking pot while driving. Then it shows him waiting for his roommate who is receiving oral sex in a car parked in front of their dwelling. The movies is full of profanity and sleaziness. One scene shows the "bad guy" getting a lap dance from a stripper while discussing how to murder his father. The movies makes the Grand Rapids police to be a bunch of Bozo''s  who never solve the crimes committed by the "victim" or the "bad guy". In the end the "victim", supposedly a "good guy" keeps the stolen money he was forced to take from the bank that he robbed and the "bad guy" opening a tanning salon which is a front for prostitution. If I was a Ludington  official I would not want Ludingtons name associated with this piece of garbage. This movie was aimed at teenage delinquents who have the IQ of 5 year olds.

Come to think of it, that was a fairly raunchy movie, that should have rankled some of the more austere members of the City of Ludington.  Maybe we see the germ of why Chief Barnett of the LPD has cracked down on bath salts, incense, and medical marijuana since the movie premiered.

I found a clip of the movie where they are robbing the bank for those who haven't seen the movie.  If you're sensitive to the f-word, turn the volume down.  There isn't much more around Ludington that happened except for when they have a run in with one of our black cops, and start the chase scene outside.

Good Movie, but you have to like comedies, if you don't like comedy it is not for you. I would suggest not watching Borat or Pinapple Express

I think you missed my point When. Associating Ludington with this kind of movie is not a positive thing. This movie could have been good but  you know as well as I that adding senseless profanity, sex and depravity gets them an R rating and makes it more inviting for the immature crowd. Think about this movie without the things I mentioned and this could have been funny instead of gross.There's a reason they add trash to movies.

I love funny movies. What I don't like is movies with needless juvenile humor which attracts those types of viewers. In the movie "30 minutes or less" I saw nothing funny about someone operating a motor vehicle while smoking weed, or having every other word a swear word especially when children are present, or someone getting a lap dance while figuring out how to kill their father, or setting someone on fire with a flame thrower and letting them scream in agony without helping them or shooting someone point blank in the chest while they are laying  on the ground or a host of other stupid "comedy" scenes. If "Grandma's boy" is similar to what I described I'm sure I would not enjoy it. The fact that you think "30 minutes or less" is funny says a lot about your sense of humor.

I meant to say we would find out your *type* of sense of humor. Not whether you have one or not. Everyone has one (almost everyone, I guess I really don't except with the type of juvenile movies you describe, those are my faves).
