I was thinking about all the negative feelings between the Soup and Torch and it seems that most of it came after drive bys and trolls crapped over here on the Torch. Some people thought it was the folks from the Soup trying to stir the pot. I was never convinced that they would do such a thing. Then I was thinking that maybe  persons not affiliated with either forum may have been pulling all of our chains just to see the fur fly. They would come here, take a p-ss, then sit back and have a good laugh. Any thoughts.

Are people really like that? (joke). I've always wondered what was really going on . It wouldn't take much for peeps to read both forums and start pulling strings on both.

I think ... after sitting back in a thoughtful way.. looking at the traffic and seeing how it seems to ebbb and flow one direction or the other you could be right. Only the drive by's.. who show up on occasion didn't seem to notice days on non posting on Ludington Talks prior to one person showing up and poking fun at the non site.

At this point I quite responding to the nic who didn't seem to realize this or any other nic on the now defunct forum as it is sort of like in( Chat world) a person is placed on ignore... He is just talking to himself lol.
In chat rooms I both visit and admin in we just explain the guy is now talking to himself until he grows up.

Obviously, you guys aren't in the know, read on, at the Poop Sooooooooooup to clarify and update. We are the only group/forum getting drive by's in abundance continually, and the usual suspects still are at large. At least for now. MSP is shortly coming.

Such as reading their posts over at their administrative site, as one of our members pointed out to me, was left open. I read a little, and found it interesting, yet scary. Nothing surprising to me, but it may be interesting if you are curious about RJE's hypothesis, which may have occurred also. Before they delete or move their content, have a look:

Its always a possibility that some of the 'drive bys' were just some goof ball getting some goofy kick to make their pathetic life seem slightly better. At least a few of the drive bys though were most likely one person from the Soup... earlier in the year I posted my suspicions in a thread as to who that was. In doing some reading over there, I did see it mentioned that Blinky had paid us a visit as well under an assumed name... although I didn't get the impression that other then that brief visit that he ever bothered to return.

That's an astute observation RJE. But, after reading what was said over there by several, pretending to posture like innocents, uninterested in this place and peeps, then, go on to make continuing dialog about the threads and peeps here on routine basis's, methinks the majority have split personalities, talk out both sides of their mouth at the same time, and are total hypocrites and liars. It's peeps that have several seperately connected computers with 30+ email addresses that can and do these things. And can get away with it, at least for quite a while. These are the computer gurus, not like most. They usually repair computers too, and we all know who's in that business over there.

I think the folks that are causing friction are not the regulars at the Soup. I may have disagreed with many of their members over at LT on different topics and sometimes it got quite heated but I never got the impression that they were the type of folks who were just trying to rile people. I think the core members of the Soup are just like the members of the Torch, only their viewpoint on discussions is different. I still haven't seen anything that would indicate the main members of the Soup are trying to sabatoge the Torch.

Thanks RJE, we had hoped and prayed for that too. Dave himself made several threads that offered an olive branch for peace, all here agreed too. But, as of recent, we have undeniable evidence to the contrary, snapshots are eveidenciary in court too. So, maybe someday you may be in the Soup Rehab group, and know more. Thanks, and if you can make inroads to that end over there yet, I see you're a member?, please do so. All of the Torchers want peace and coexistence for the future, not chaos.

peace should be easier now that this forum seems to be the only one around this area that has action and from what i seen free and focussed talk about things not touched on elsewhere. i read the description for soup rehab and question what it is actualy about. i dout its just a therapy room, wot now is it.
