It's getting around to that Holiday Season again when we look around and find our fellow citizens with poverish types in the streets and hungry. Some are getting assistance, some fell through the cracks and cannot get any assistance. For those of you in the City of Ludington, or nearby on Tuesday nights, the Community Church behind the Elks Club, sponsors a free dinner from 4:30-6:00pm in the basement dining room. There is a free will donation box if you are able, if not, you may eat for free. Tonight the main course was Shepherd's Pie, coleslaw, applesause, roll, cupcake or jello, and tea, coffee, or lemonade. You can come as you are, and kids are always welcome. Volunteers are always welcome too. Every week the churches rotate to make this dinner possible, they also have food banks where canned and frozen goods are given out to the needy, and this schedule also rotates daily as to which church has a program available. If you need help, this is the way to get some. If you can volunteer to help, please do that instead. If we all work together, anything is possible. Thanks.
